Using the GUI
Is the SQLyog 'auto-complete' feature exact for each MySQL version?
No, not yet!
The SQLyog version 5.1 ships with an embedded database of keywords and functions that is exact for MySQL version 3.23. We will add keywords and functions added to later MySQL versions in near future.
However the MySQL documentation does not provide such listing. We will have to extract it ourselves. And we will do so. But as it is quite time-consuming work we decided that we would not let this delay the release of SQLyog version 5.1
