SQLyog MySQL GUI 13.0.1 Released

Important notice: with the 13.0 release we have changed registration keys. Please have your new key available when upgrading from a pre-13 version. As usual registered users will get it from our Customer Portal.

This new release of SQLyog adds optionality if Schema Sync should synchronize InnoDB Row Format for tables or not. We realize that in some cases it is relevant to have different settings on different servers (example: COMPRESSED on one and a non-COMPRESSED option on the other). Also it is not always possible to synchronize this parameter, if target server is a lower version than source server. Also 13.0 unintentionally considered Row Format for MyISAM tables. This has now been removed.

Additionally autocomplete and syntax highlighting are now aware of keywords and functions added in most recent MySQL and MariaDB servers.

Changes as compared to MySQL GUI 13.0 include:

Features:

• It is now optional if Schema Sync should synchronize the InnoDB Row Format -setting for tables or not.

Bug Fixes:

• The setting in Query Profiler ‘preferences’ to include EXPLAIN EXTENDED is now ignored, if server does not support this (what is the case with MySQL from 5.7.4 – but not any MariaDB version).

Miscellaneous:

• The “keywords.db” file (used by syntax highlighting, autocomplete and automatic lettercase handling for functions and keywords) was updated with new keywords and functions related to JSON, Roles, Common Table Expressions and Window Functions as of both MySQL 8.0 and MariaDB 10.3.
